William is walking!!!

William has been taking a couple steps at a time for a few months now, but over the last few days he has started wallking all the time!  Earlier we had the door open and William “escaped”. He walked around outside for a few minuets, the whole time pointing to the ground and saying “der! der!” (dirt! dirt!).

Well, there dosn’t seem to be any new pictures on the computer right now, so they are probably all on the camera. : )  I will see if daddy can get the pictures off the camera soon so that I can post some.

Here’s some pictures daddy took on a recent hunting trip to Canemount Plantation.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen…

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us,and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the auther and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

is it midnight yet?

Well, I’m trying realy hard to stay up, but it’s only 10:30 and my eyes are starting to close themselves, so I don’t know how much longer I will last. The only problem is that if I don’t stay up all of my younger siblings (who don’t seem to be tired at all) will come jump on me as soon as I fall asleep. Maybe if I tell them that I need to put the baby to bed…

Daddy got a new grill for his birthday and we are all VERY happy. : ) When he walked in the door a few minuets ago he asked what was for supper. When I said that I was about to fix something he said ” well is there something I can grill?” You could see the gleam in his eyes. : )

We are not doing much this evening, but grandma and grandad are coming to visit from Texas tomarro.  img_5988

Last week we got about FIVE inches of snow!  needless to say, we were all thrilled.  School was forgotten in the mad rush to be the first one to be all dressed and outside building snow forts.  Mary woke up and said “it’s Christmas!” when I told her “Mary, it’s just snowing” she replied, “I know.  That means it’s Christmas!!”

This isn’t a very recent picture, but daddy’s busy working on some wedding pictures right now, so I don’t have any realy new pics.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pictures coming soon!!

Hi everyone! sorry I havn’t posted in a while, soon we will be getting a new computer and high speed internet (no more dial-up!!!) and I will hopefully post a LOT of pictures!

Sarah got the chickenpox first.  The rest of us thought that we might have escaped getting them when, almost three weeks later, no one else had gotten sick.  But it was not to be.  17 days after Sarah got sick first Samuel, then Andrew, then me and Mary all fell to the dreaded chickenpox.  Oh Well. (big sigh) At least we don’t have to do school. : )
